ARCHEOLOGICAL DIVES:

1) AMPHORAE OF THE NORA

Anchoring depth : 7 m

Maximum depth: 22 m

Drift: absent or mild .

Bottom composition: Banks of Poseidon and limestone

Difficulties: simple

Level patent: Open water Diver (18m)

Dive time: 60 minutes

Description diving:

Articulated in an area where in an ancient time there are been shipwreck fenice, punic and Roman. Today the wreck  is not visible, but you can see part of their loads. 

 

 

 

2) LA CITTA' SOMMERSA

Anchoring depth : 5 m

Maximum depth: 12 m

Drift: absent .

Bottom composition: Banks of Poseidon and blocks of old buildings

Difficulties: simple

Level patent: Padi Scuba Diver

Dive time: 90 minutes

Description diving:

Articulated through a series of rocky boulders where the first part of the city was born (NORA) overlooking the sea, you think old port area. Today, unfortunately, is only some walls and a huge range of pots and many other objects used in the past.

Are visible in certain periods of mosaic floors.

In more recent times two major flagship.

 


3) IL RELITTO DEI FARAGLIONI DI CHIA

Anchoring depth : 10 m

Maximum depth: 40 m

Drift: light .

Bottom composition: sand and granite rock.

Difficulties: medium

Level patent: Advanced open water diver

Dive time: 45 minutes

Description diving:

 The dive is along the wall rocks of the islands, gradually from a depth of about 10 m sinking along the parade up to 40 m on the sand, here you can see large pieces of amphoras Roman.

The wreck is still present but some days only emerges in part from the sand. After a few minutes  around 40 m climb along the wall where you can find more remains of the cargo.

 

 

4) LA SECCA DELLE ANCORE


Anchoring depth : 30 m

Maximum depth: 36 m

Drift: light .

Bottom composition: sand and granite rock.

Difficulties: medium

Dive time: 30 minutes

Description diving:

Scuba diving along the streaks of granite rocks that rise a few feet from the sandy bottom. Throughout the dive you can  see   anchor the different ages and sizes.

SHOALS:


5) LA STRADA

Anchoring depth : 22 m

Maximum depth: 26 m

Drift: light .

Bottom composition: Poseidon and granite rock.

Difficulties: medium

Level patent: Advanced open water diver

Dive time: 40 minutes

Description diving:

Blocks of white granite, arranged to recall a classic Roman road. the reef extends about 200 meters.

Among the boulders forming numerous holes where we can find bream, croakers, groupers, and moray eels. Scattered throughout the reef shards of amphorae.

 

 

6) IL PANETTONE


Anchoring depth : 13 m

Maximum depth: 27 m

Drift: light .

Bottom composition: granite rock.

Difficulties: medium

Level patent: Open water diver

Dive time: 45 minutes

Description diving:

The location of the dive is  around a large rock shaped like a cake from a depth of 27 meters back up to 13 m along the perimeter of the shoal are many caves where they find shelter and lots of moray eels and octopus.

In all reef you can see the barracuda.

 

7) IL CANDELIERE

Anchoring depth : 13 m

Maximum depth: 40 m

Drift: medium/strong .

Bottom composition: granite rock.

Difficulties: medium

Dive time: 40 minutes

Description diving:

Spire of granite rock that has a depth of 40 meters back with vertical walls to a depth of 13 meters, the dive location is developed starting from the bottom of the shoal and spiral back along the walls. Rarely is not for this current is always full of fish. The walls are covered with Parazhoantus in the lower part of the shoal are large groupers, schools of bream and barracuda swim around to shoal. Not infrequent encounters with large predators of the sea and big sunfish.

 

8) SU GIUDEU 1 e 2.

Description diving:

Mountain of granite rock that rises from a sandy bottom about 35 meters to the shoal top where there are about 5 meters.
Characterized by the current always makes the point of immersion very rich in fish.
The rocks of the shoal is covered with many types of sponges that make diving colorful facilitated by a breathtaking vision.

 

9) THE SHOAL OF MINE.

Maximum depth: 38 m

Description diving:

Dive articulated long strip of rock from a sandy bottom about 38 meters rise as high up to 19 meters. Lying on one side of the dry find a mine of World War II. Current always makes the shoal but rich in fish.

10) THE TANKER ROMAGNA

Anchoring depth : 30 m

Maximum depth: 43 m

Drift: absent .

Bottom composition: sand.

Difficulties: medium

Level patent: Advanced Open water diver/ deep

Dive time: 30 minutes

Description diving:

Tanker. Missing bow truncated by the explosion of a mine during World War II.
Wreck rich pelagic fish (amberjack, snapper). The visibility in the summer months is almost always excellent. Ideal for medium-diving expert and underwater photographer.
Wonderful to see the big propeller and rudder of the ship. diving is along the walls of the vessel and along the bridge

 

11) THE CARGO SHIP DINO

Anchoring depth : 16 m

Maximum depth: 26 m

Drift: absent .

Bottom composition: sand.

Difficulties: simple

Level patent: Open water diver

Dive time: 45 minutes

Description diving:

Cargo ship sank in the 70s. Lying at a depth of 26 meters on one side. Divided into three sections, the portion of the stern and bow are virtually intact. Perfect for diving.

 

 

12) THE ARMY CARGO SHIP ISONZO

Anchoring depth : 40 m

Maximum depth: 47 m

Drift: medium .

Bottom composition: sand.

Difficulties: difficult

Level patent: Deep diver

Dive time: 30 minutes

Description diving:

Cargo tank of World War II, sunk in '43, well kept, see the cannons and machine guns binary. wreck full of fish.

 

 

WALLS:

 

13) ROCKY THE CORMORANT. 

Anchoring depth : 6 m

Maximum depth: 25 m

Drift: absent .

Bottom composition: sand and granite rock.

Difficulties: simple

Level patent: open water diver

Dive time: 50 minutes

Description diving:

Diving articulated along the walls of a small rock outcropping about 200 meters away from the coast, the route follows a spiral around the cone of rock and the granite peaks all around. The walls are covered with parazoanthus that make diving colorful.

 

14) WALLS OF ISLANDS FARAGLIONI. 

Anchoring depth : 6 m

Maximum depth: 40 m

Drift: light .

Bottom composition: sand and granite rock.

Difficulties: simple

Level patent: open water diver

Dive time: 50 minutes

Description diving:

Are 3 different dives, each dive follows the perimeter of an island. The walls of the island presents an almost vertical Angle giving a breathtaking thanks to excellent visibility.

The walls are covered with sponges, and cracks in the rock are shunned for conger eels, moray eels, octopus and some lobsters. Outer island whose walls reach 40 meters you can find grouper. The barracuda are always present along the walls.

 

 

15) WALLS OF CAPO TEULADA

Anchoring depth : no anchoring, drifting dive

Maximum depth: 60 m

Drift: medium/strong .

Bottom composition: granite rock.

Difficulties: medium

Level patent: Advanced open water diver

Dive time: 60 minutes

Description diving:

The dives take place along the walls of the imposing Capo Teulada, here the walls of granite rock from a height of 90 meters into the blue out of the water up to a maximum of 60 meters and then rapidly collapse at depths exceeding 100 meters. We make five different dives (wall east wall of a half wall Cala Galera, Western Wall and the end wall of Cala Aligusta).

The area can not be the anchor of the Harbour Ordinance, the dives are carried out in drift in the tide, with assistance from the surface of the boat that follows us throughout the dive.

Diving all very rich in fish.

 

 

CAVES:

 

16) CAVE OF CAPO MALFATANO

Anchoring depth :6 m

Maximum depth: 18 m

Drift: absent.

Bottom composition: granite rock.

Difficulties: simple

Level patent: open water diver

Dive time: 60 minutes

Description diving:

The dive begins in the canyons of granite rock that has a depth of about 6, 7 meters develop and arrive at depths around 18 meters, the walls of Capo Malfatano where we find the entrance to the cave .

 

17) CAVES OF LEVANTE AND PISCINA AZZURRA

Anchoring depth : no anchoring, drifting dive

Maximum depth: 27 m

Drift: medium .

Bottom composition: granite rock.

Difficulties: medium

Level patent: Advanced open water diver

Dive time: 60 minutes

Description diving:

We are along the walls of Capo Teulada, usually do these two caves in succession, but can also be made separately, usually the dive starts from the stable of blue swimming pool, entrance to 12 meters, 50 meters path and ends in a large circular room. The second cave to a depth of 27 meters has a large opening in the rock extending into the mountain about 100 meters, the cave is entirely feasible in many lobsters, crabs and many fish lovers of the dark.
